As we head into fall (aka as building season) here in the Northern Hemisphere, our fellow modelers are getting ready for another flying season south of the equator. For you guys south of the equator, be sure and check all your models out with our seasonal model checklist before heading to the flying field. It's a great help!
Just a few items to cover this month...
1. BUILD THREADS - As some of us start to think about new winter projects, I hope you will take the time to post your project this year and do a build thread. I cannot convey to you how helpful these are to other modelers and the great feedback I get when I get to meet members saying how great it is to be able to follow these build threads. No matter what your skill level you should start one. We can all learn from each other!
2. 3D REPOSITORY - Be sure and check out the 3D repository for several new items posted over the last month. If you have a .stl file you think others would benefit from and would like to share it, contact me using the Contact Us page and I will get your .stl file up in the repository.
3. POSTING LINKS - Many folks seem to be confused on how to post a URL link. There is a short video on the FAQ page (second video down) that shows you how to link URL's.
4. RCSB VENDORS - Last but not least, as we start ramping up to building season, I hope you all will take advantage of the great resources and supporting vendors here on RCSB that offer our subscribers special deals and do what they can to help support this site. Be sure and check them out by clicking on [RCSB Vendors] on the site menu.
