So the Smith is your idea of a scale color scheme, Nice that you can do it in tribute colors.
I know the struts will need to be trimmed and if you feel up to it take all the shims out and make your adjustment from there. You can always put it back in if it seems too much. That way you might only need to resolder once.
It sounds like the 1/8" on the stab has fixed almost all the nasties.
Slick job on the photoshop. Normally their would be a pack of Spits on the Huns tail.

Yes, I was flicking through google images looking at colour schemes and nothing really took my fancy so I decided to print out some outlines and doodle myself. This was my favourite.

That sounds a good plan with the shims, I'll try to make it adjustable until the best results are found.

No photoshop - my girlfriend took that photo - no filters either - straight from the camera. That photo is taken 1 mile from the house we have just bought, it is Kilve Beach in Somerset UK. Can only fly there when it is very calm because the cliffs make for deadly turbulence in the landing area! Great fun when the tide is in flying down beneath the cliffs over the water! Only downfall is there is no one to fly with.

Thanks Tubig and Abufletcher! That is one of the advantages of having a belly landing foamie! I really enjoy taking it to new sites to try and get convincing photos – a bit like this chap:

My long suffering girlfriend snaps away for me and some come out well. It’s only a 5 year old Parkzone 109! It’s great to dive past the cliff and down to the sea. I have some photos of it flying below the camera with the water beneath – like quite a lot of wartime photos, but I haven’t got the perspective right yet and the waves show the size of the model – a work in progress!
