Such an event could bring forth the very best models that could be shared and appreciated by BUILDERS, the only folks who can truly understand and honor such works. Such an event could be held in any season, in any part of the country and could attract the kind of airplanes that typically would be seen at Toledo or the WRAM shows. Additionally, the amazing plastic models that we seldom see would be available to view and appreciate. An event like this could perhaps lure the surviving kit manufacturers to display their wares as well as all those who make all the tools and hardware we all use. The event I imagine, would not involve hardcore competition, but rather honor and recognize excellence. Well known experts and famous members of the hobby could make presentations and best of all, Everything on display would represent the best our hobby has to offer without a single foamy or ARF. I feel that an event such as what I'm describing could set before the public, our best examples of our great hobby.
