Finally made it home (10-hour drive).  It was great seeing you all again and meeting some new folks this year. Last's night's RCSB dinner was great. I appreciate everyone who showed up and thanks to the vendors and individuals who donated door prizes. Everyone walked away with a prize!

Here are a few pics from the dinner...

And of course, not all but a few from the expo floor, including Jeff's award-winning Uhu!

On our short 4 hour drive home we decided the only reason to comeback next year is for the Dinner with all ya' all!
After dinner with the RCSB group we can back to the Seagate center and watched the ETOC.
WOW oh WOW!!!!!! While I am not interested in doing that style of flying it was amazing to see the best in the world compete. airplanes flying at 5 MPH doing the most elegant 3D maneuvers. A motionless hover for 20-30 seconds followed by a torque roll that took at least 10 seconds all while the plane is motionless. If the ETOC is there next year, I highly recommend that you attend and bring a 6 pack of "soda" since there isn't any food vending during the event.
We closed the night a Ralphies Bar across the river near our hotel and helped our team place second in a trivia contest.
Good times!
Sparky

The ultimate irony- Jeff won a book on basics of model construction at the dinner!

Show was definitely smaller this year- but CH ignitions is picking up the UMS radial engine line- they are sweet and come in many sizes- perfect for your radial engine project- Matt

Some of the prizes such as mine were very timely.
I won a hinge and latch kit two days after I decided
to make my DC-3 nose door functional...

The auction was fun, too. Got lots of laughs when a
seaplane which nobody seemed to want was bid from
about $10.00 (if I remember correctly) to about $20.00
or $30.00 in $.25 to $.50 increments.
My number may be off but you get the idea.

Wow, news on CH Ignitions picking up the UMS radial engine line sure is welcome......hopefully they will have a way better handle on the motors than Horizon ever did.

Thx for sharing Matt
