Wonderful to see some serious weathering on a WWI model!

These are some seriously enormous models!  Seems like they get bigger and bigger each year!

Fantastic to see women doing TopGun quality building!

You can always count on seeing a stunning P-51 at TopGun!

In case any RC Scale Builders were in the Top Gun food tent on Saturday around noon - my father had a mild stroke while eating his lunch.  He was taken to the Lakeland hospital, where he was admitted and where he stayed for a couple days.  He is now at home just outside of Niagara Falls, and appears to be on his way to making a full recovery.

I just wanted to say "Thank You" to all of those who helped us while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.  A special huge THANKS  to the emergency room doctor who happened to be in the tent and who took immediate action.  I don't know if any of you will see this, but my dad and I are so thankful for your help and attention.

This is yet another example of why the RC community is so special.  I hope I'll be able to pay your kindness forward some day.

Best Regards,
   Greg Gee

Glad to hear your father was in good hands all around.
You're right, the r/c community is a special place.

I should think that the fact that your Dad is recovered is reward enough for everyone.

Great to see Dave Wigley and his Wyvern take first in the Masters class. It is seven years since his last win of three in a row as Mr Top Gun with this model so this latest win probably sets a longevity record for the same model in this event? The model is enjoying a longer service life then the full size, albeit with a major rebuild after a near total crash some years ago.

I have been building one from Dave's drawings for almost as long which reflects my interest in the result LINK    It is now being painted and should fly at last before the year is out.

Dave.
