An Alexander Lippisch design and the very first sailplane to use a variometer. In 1:4 scale it is over 4 meters in span. Plans hand drawn from 3-views provided by Martin Simons using scale foil. Parts hand fabricated... no lasers for me! Pull-pull rudder and ailerons while full flying stab driven by push rod. It is a very good thermal machine and the controls are 'harmonized' beautifully! Its most recent outing was this past weekend at the Winamac Aeromodelers' field in Indiana.
