Nice job Scott ! love that rib-stitching and awesome paint job...should be a real "looker" on slow fly-bys..Where did you get that Lozengtex? and in your opinion does it match fairly up to actual scale color values?? Happy flying...just need a pilot now ! Eric

Eric, Thanks!! I got the Lozengetex from Balsa USA. I found it to have the same working properties as Solartex. You do have to use an iron sock as the finish will scuff. The top (darker) colour is more in line with what I have seen during my research. The bottom is bright that's for sure, and is off colour from what I have seen. I toned both down with a top coat of Minwax Polycrylic satin. Overall I'm happy with the product and the results. The Aces of Iron pilot is being painted as we speak, and the twin Spandaus have been built and are also waiting to be installed. I also need to paint the "du doch nicht" on the elevators, but I just had to fly it first!!!

Yes there are always ways to tone colors down a bit...but brightening up is almost not possible AND ??? So How does it FLY ????
