I have been collecting parts and working on this one for several years in between building other planes. I finally got it test flown a couple of days ago.

I have to say, this one flew PERFECT! It needed NOT ONE CLICK OF TRIM in any direction! That was a first for me! It weighs 35# and the G-62 was plenty of power. The only problem on the test flight was the throttle linkage. When I went to land it wouldn't go down below a real fast idle so it touched at about 50 MPH! I ran out of runway and it flipped over in the tall weeds at the end of the runway and crunched the top of the rudder. I was happy, though, that it flew so well right off the board! The throttle and rudder have since been fixed and she's ready to go again.

A guy there took a bunch of nice in-flight pictures but I'm still waiting to receive them.

I don't have a kill switch that can be activated from the Tx. I tried the throttle cut function but it didn't get the idle down low enough. The throttle linkage has been changed and it works much better now.

Here's a video from a couple days ago, taken with a cell phone camera. It's actually the third flight...not the maiden flight. The throttle is working correctly now and the plane slows down nicely on landing. If it looks like the tail is dragging after the landing it's because the tail wheel and it's yoke fell off somewhere out in the boonies! (I had to order another yoke from Robart.)  I also scared myself a little trying to do a big round loop.
