Here's my latest build.
An electric, Peter Rake designed Fokker DVII. Modifications were made to accommodate the full cockpit and dummy Mercedes, down to the crankcase, which lifts out for access to the battery. The covering is printed on a lightweight polyester heat shrink covering called Airspan.
She flies beautifully. Unfortunately, the airborne shots were taken before the pilot was completed and strapped in.

She is a real beauty, congratulations.

Hope to see some nice shots from her in the future with pilot on board

That is an amazing aircraft, looks just like the real thing in the air!  I am not familiar with this model, is it available as plans or a kit?  I am very interested in one of these.

Proof positive that 1/6 scale is large enough for a scale model of the highest caliber.  BTW, who sells aerospan and how does it compare to polyspan?

Hammered,

Thank you for posting. This is a museum quality aircraft and more so for the scale, and it flies!
I followed your build on the other site.  Thank you for the education.

Very best,
Jim
