Paint was automotive acrylic. Colour matched by a local automotive paint suppliers. I painted aluminium over the primer first so weathering would expose it where required.
Scratch built the cockpit, rear guns and gunners position. A lot of inspiration was taken from Frank Harris and Tom Pierces fabulous builds.

At the controls is my good friend ang test pilot Anthony Ogle. Since then the model has won two Pilots Choice " Model of the Meets" and has had at least 60 flights.
Very nice. I think I found the video you described. Looks like a wonderful flying plane. It's easy to imagine this plane taking off of a carrier deck, especially with that realistic 4 stroke sound. Thanks for sharing.
