My latest project to finish. I built it for a fellow club member. Bought the kit for him in Owatonna, MN last August, finished about three weeks ago. Maiden was last Friday and she flew.....well.....like a BUSA kit! Austin said it had no bad qualities in the air. On thing that did go wrong was the canister connection came loose. We thought we had it fixed a few days later only to have it throw the connection between the header and canister off again. We're still head scratching that and have a higher heat rated connector ordered. Yeah, that's my ugly mug with the plane. Pics were taken by Mike Pennell.
Here are the specs:
BUSA kit Solartex covering latex paint (all hand painted) Zenoah G62 with reduction gear drive (2.5 to 1) 34"x 20 prop 32 oz fuel tank Williams Brothers wheels Iflytailies guns and ammo feeds and ammo Aces of Iron pilot wing skids are scratch built kit cowl with aluminum front customization And....NO ADDED BALAST!!!
