Mike,
Thanks of the video. I've seen his plane in person several times and he was very informative, I think Mike might have misspoke when he mentioned the overall weight is 60 pounds. I think I heard him say over 100 pounds like 140 or so. Not to start any debate just to make sure guys don't get totally freaked out over the apparent light weight.

This was my first time at this event but it is hands down the best event I have ever attended.  GMA were wonderful hosts, the location was fantastic, the weather was beautiful and all of the modelers were great to hang out with and visit.  I wandered around and talked to various pilots for the entire event gathering ideas for future projects and fixes for current ones.  The steak dinner friday evening was wonderful.  I enjoyed visiting with both old friends and making new ones.  I highly recommend this event for anyone who can possibly make their way to it.  You won't regret your trip!

David

Yeah I gotta agree with Carl. I helped turn it over with only Mike and myself it it was no where near 100lbs. Electrics are much lighter as you don't have to build as much structure to handle vibration and such. My Whirlwind is only 35 lbs RTF with batteries and it is a twin with a 117 inch WS.

Cheers,
Mike

I had a great time!  David and Mike it was good to hookup again, been to many years since.  I guess I will have to come again where ever it is held and make sure the Whirlwind shows up also.

By the way I can't believe the camera still works.  And now at home the Wildcat has spark, unbelievable.
