Well, truth be told I was never very far away, but I had put the hobby on hold for the last 7 years, but got that itch again. I went down to the LHS and jumped on the simulator to see how much I had lost. Not much, which is sad in a way. With that under my belt I ordered up a seagull models PT-22 to get my feet back under me. Due to slow assembly I didn't have it ready before I was heading to Wenatchee Washington for the NorthWest Scale Modelers spring opener. No problem got my required minimum flights on a new plane on Friday, competed Sat and Sun. Good enough for 3rd place Sportsman

Chuck,

That's a beautiful model of the PT-22.  Can you post a few shots?  What type of covering did you use for the fuselage and wings?  Or were they already covered when you received the kit?

Just curious.

Thanks. The plane is a Seagull models ARF, so already covered. The covering is ultracote, which is a good quality film, and if you need, easy to obtain if repairs are necessary.
