It is the Top Flite ARC (Almost Ready to Cover). I was very impressed with the quality of the construction. I'm not sure I could have built it any better if I had bought the full kit. The original purpose of this build was to get a nice, large, gas powered warbird, into my hangar, as I've never had one before...so this filled the need much quicker than a full build. It also gave the opportunity to learn a number of painting techniques.
I can't stress enough how highly I would recommend this path for anyone wanting to give scale modeling a try. Building a scale airframe from a kit is not much different from building any other plane from a kit. The big work comes in the detailing. Starting with an ARC plane lets you get into the finishing process much sooner.
