Learning 3D CAD has been more of a challenge than I anticipated. But, I feel like I am finally starting to make some progress. Here's a cutaway rendering of the main wheel for the Corsair and Hellcat.
I'm 4 hours into a 20 hour 3d print of the front half of the wheel. I'll post a photo of it tomorrow.

Looking good! 3d Modeling, 3d printing, and engineering stuff so it works is a full time hobby for each one of those.... Looks like you are making great progress.... I'm still struggling to get the print quality where I like it. Thinking I'll have to get a form2 then investment cast everything. FDM just not quite good enough - maybe with ABS and vapor smoothing is worth a try. I'm printing He-111 parts right now :)

You have some great CAD and CNC skills. I'm quite pleased with what I have been able to achieve with my FDM. Here's a linky to my post in the 3D Printing section.
Cheers, Scott

Here's my latest test print. In addition to the internal ribs, I also reworked the spoke reinforcements on the face of the wheel to be more scale. While printing it, I found an error in the internal ribs where the ribs were not fully connected to the hub. I've since corrected the model.

Thanks Danny,
I started a full wheel print about 2 1/2 hours ago. It should be finished about the time I get home from work tomorrow.

Well, after 31 1/2 hours of print, and about 20 minutes before it was completed, I decided to get ready to take a video. I brought in a light and plugged it into the same (non surge protected) power strip, and when I did, the print stopped! I'll have to give it another go.
