Hi

Well I pondered this for a while as the wing of the corsair's  leading edge has many curves going off in many direction . Not exactly an easy thing to replicate but how can I create a fill and easily shape it and then create the door with glass cloth and epoxy .  My photos will display better than my explanation - but in a nut shell I placed a piece of ply as close to the top and started filling with plasticine formed the curvatures and placed some packing tape over it and wax on the tape and covered with glass and epoxy - see photo near the end of the photo folder https://goo.gl/photos/L5bgyFNRzZtmovTj7

Few photos, sanding down the doors after the epoxy was dry and getting a clean edge using packing tape at the edges worked well to protect the surface used combo of 60 to 240 grit sand paper ,  the rigid sander worked very well.

Clever, thanks for the tip!

Like the tubing to actuate the tail wheel doors too.
