Thanks Jim, I plan on doing that, I have the high definition photo and you can see all the detail, really a neat photo. Thank you BobH, you don't get mother nature to co-operate like that very much. I am building a Proctor Eindecker right now and hope to put all the detailing in that one also, all I have to do is wait for the right weather to take a picture...Ha!Ha!
About a year and a half ago I was flying in thicker fog than you see here and hit a tree, totally destroying the wings and back half of the fuselage, I built up two new wings spliced and redid the fuselage and cabane and had it ready for the Blue Max in 2016. Stitching the fabric onto the wing is time consuming when you do it once, but having to do it again in such a short period after doing the first time is not fun. I thought about going the simulated stitching route on the Eindecker because I don't want to stiffen up the wing too much because of the wing warping. I may have to put out that question in RCSB and see if anyone may have an idea about that.............Thank you everyone on your wonderful comments, it makes this old guy feel good. If anyone wants to know how old I am, I planted the burning bush on MT. Sanai......LOL!!!!
