Big turn out (55 pilots) with lots of airplanes and I did not do much picture taking but here are a few from the event. Still a bit hotter than I had hoped for with temps reaching nearly triple digits but we had a great time and the post-event banquet on Saturday was outstanding. Easily the best food I have ever had at any aviation related event anywhere along with good people and some great awards being handed out. Thanks to all the OEAF members who worked hard to make it happen as well as the hosting club, Arizona Model Pilots Society.

It certainly was on this particular weekend Bob, and their was very little wind to offer any relief. Fortunately our mornings and evenings are really nice right now so I did my flying after the show on Saturday and then early on Sunday. We have one or two events every month from now until March or April and the weather is only going to get better until at least March when it starts to warm up again. I'm looking forward to doing LOTS of flying between now and then!

Thanks for posting those were some wonderful looking warbirds. I love it when folks take time to share pictures from events they go to. People ask what is happening to this hobby, well at a nice event like that it appears there are still a number of us building and flying warbirds.
