Hello and greetings from the Netherlands,
I have been a model airplane pilot for about 27 years and a licensed UAV pilot for the last 4 years. I love warbirds must have visited our military aviation museum (Soeterberg) dozens of times and recently discovered the joy of the Flying legends airshow at Duxfort. I have build lots of sports and "semi" scale models (lots of Cup's and P-51's at that) but recently got in more serious stuff with composite UAV's a 1/2 scale composite Fox glider for work and a 1/4,5 scale Jerry Bates Fokker DXXI.

Hello Ted - Welcome to RCSB! Please start a thread on your rebuild/repairs when you get going on it, he DXXI is a neat airplane, how fortunate to have one so close by.
Also look into the site supporter program HERE
As others will attest it is well worth the price!

Welcome to the group Ted! A 50% Fox for "work"? Nice job! Is it self-launching? (FES or SLS?) I have a pair of 50% Cirrus, a 75B and a G/81 from Rosenthal to finish.

No it is winch launched, set up for double (futaba) control and registrered as an unmanned aircraft (PH number) we use it for practice since it is simulair in size and weight of our unmanned aircraft (also winch launched). The Fox is from Paritech in Germany.
