Seasons Greetings fellow scale modelers. The last couple of years have been hard on everyone for so many different reasons. I am thankful we all can still come together here on RCSB as a community and enjoy our great hobby.  I have to say that the hobby has made these challenging times much easier by allowing me to meet more new modelers, making some new friends and spending time here with existing friends. You all are to many to name here but you all mean a lot to this fella that loves airplanes and I thank you all for your friendship and support.

Also, unfortunately we lost a few members over the last year including regulars like Jay Maguire, Randy Klosterhoff, Frank Tiano, and my good friends Jim Weems and Jason Hallmark just to name a few. They all will be missed, yet their legacy lives on here on RCSB.

This time of year also makes me reflect back on the last year and look at things I have accomplished and think about things I want to accomplish next year. I definitely feel I didn’t get to spend much time in the shop this last year because of my “real” job, but plan on changing that in the upcoming year. What are your hobby related goals for 2022?

As we prepare to spend time with family and/or friends this holiday season, I would ask each of you to please be safe if you travel, and if you are driving please be very aware of others driving as well. Also, please, no matter what,  do not drink and drive.

I will leave you with the famous verse... “Peace on earth, and good will to all men”. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from here in the USA.

Regards,
Mike

Thanks for that Mike, may we all move forward into the new year safely and with plans to fulfil that dream build. God Bless us one and all! Be safe.
