Here's my completed version of the Top Flite 60 size Corsair Kit with a few mods

Final Weight: 11.9 LBS (OKAY!!! 12LBS)

Engine: DLE 20 Rear Exhaust

Prop: Master Airscrew 16x8

Radio Equipment: Futaba 14SG

Gear and door sequencer : Turnigy #10700129

Handing Gear: Robart 615 Rotating Retracts & 650 Robo Struts

Wheels: Dave Brown 4'' foam wheels #WR40

Finish: 3/4 .oz fiberglass cloth & West System epoxy resin

Paint: Axalta Mosaic 3.5 VOC Basecoat system

Clear: Axalta LE5600S with 2361S matting agent

Vinyl Graphics: Callie Graphics (www.callie-graphics.com)

Modifications

1. Scratch built tail wheel

2. Gear doors

3. Vacuum form inner gear doors

4. Vacuum form wheel rims

5. Firewall venting

6. Front antenna is ignition switch

7. Rear antenna is receiver switch

8. Top Flite Cockpit Kit #TOPQ8404

9. Dedicated Aileron servos

10. Wing Radiators

To boil it down....in 2012 the DuPont® Corporation decided to get out of the paint business. The Carlyle Group purchased the entire DuPont® Refinish Division worldwide.

The DuPont® oval is a registered trade mark to the DuPont® Corporation so they had to change the name......Axalta Coating Systems is born!!

November 2014 Axalta Coating Systems go's public trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
