New to this forum a while ago but just occasionally read some of the threads.
I've been flying RC since 2008. Built several Great Planes and Sig kits. Then I tried my luck at designing a stick in 3D software, making a drawing and then building it. Built a 1/2a airplane from plans which were slightly modified for an electric power system. I used dope and silk span just to try something new.
Building has been replaced with assembling 3D ARFs for a while as I'm learning something new. Occasionally rescue airplanes from swap meets or trash bins. What ever's free just to satisfy my need to build something.
I was recently given a 1/4 scale Bub Nosen Mr Mulligan. I mounted an engine, added servos and packing tape over holes in the covering. I flew it a couple of times and decided to strip it down, repair it and make it look new again.
I have a few questions I post later.
Thanks
