A friend of Franks recently passed also. Top Gun competitor, Sam Snyder, passed away 1-18-2021 at 0925am.  He had colon cancer that had metastasized to his liver.  His Funeral was 1-23-2021 at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler, TX. He was a very good friend and will be greatly missed.

One of, if not the most friendly and sharing persons in this hobby. Sam
always took the time to ask "How Ya Doing?".

Sam was a Texas A&M graduate and graduated from the USN Post Grad
School in Monterey, CA. Retiring as Commanding Officer of EPDOPAC. 
Sam's honors earned from Vietnam service through to retirement:
...............................Bronze Star with Combat V
...............................Two Navy Commendation medals with Combat V
...............................Three Air Medals
...............................The Combat Action Ribbon
Sam was a true friend of everyone he met!

Top Gun saw people like Bob Fiorenze, Nick Ziroli, Bob Violet, Cowboy Ken Walters
and the list goes on and on. Frank put lots of time and effort to make it 
one of the Premier Scale Competition events. Now my question the question will be will 
Top Gun, Florida Jets will still continue without Frank... My condolence to his family with this
giant in RC
