Greetings fellow RCSB’ers. I hope you all are doing well and getting those models ready for spring. In case you don’t have a copy, be sure to download and print out a copy of the RCSB Yearly Model Checklist to help you make sure your models are safe and ready for another season of flying. I use this every year when going over my models getting them ready for flying season. Feel free to share it with your club or organization.
Next, I wanted to throw out an idea and see what you guys think. I am toying with the idea of making a “Scale Organizations” section in the forums and setting up a forum in it for each organization that will be monitored by one or more officers of that organization to answer questions about their organization and announce / discuss events they host. Let me know what you think. I have several organizations from around the world interested and would like your feedback if you have any.
Just a quick reminder that if you have any questions about the site be sure to check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the site menu at the top of every page. 99% of you questions can be answered there. If you have never taken a look, check it out by clicking here.
That’s all I have for this month. I hope each and every one of you stay healthy and enjoy our wonderful hobby.
Until next time, Mike

Mike, think it would be a good idea for a scale organization forum, but it really would depend on who you get to monitor the forums.

You are correct Jeff. This is for THEIR benefit so the burden will be on the organization. As I said, it would be an officer or an officer picked representative of the org. Another point would be that if they would not make that commitment, there would not be a forum for them here and if they commit and fail to represent their forum would be removed.
Thanks, Mike

Hey, look at it this way- if it works, it works, else you can remove it later.

Sounds good, give it a shot, then remove as needed.

I say the more the merrier - anything that will publicize and encourage participation in Scale Modeling is good, and this is the best site in the world for flying Scale Modeling.

I think the general consensus is; Try it, we may like it! And if not, we'll let you know!
