Hi Bob,
You are welcome to hang out in my tent, you may have to buy a "pit pass" for $25, I'll bet you can sneak into the pit area without to much trouble. Last year the tents had our names posted out in front of each tent, or you can just look for the Fiat biplane and V-173 flying Pancake. My static time is 9:30 Friday morning, and we don't fly until Saturday & Sunday.
Bring a lawn chair and an umbrella!

Thanks for the invite, Larry. I will likely have my wife tagging along. I'll bring a couple lawn chairs and my video camera for sure. I'm still not 100% I can get there as I have something in the background 'evolving' but as of right now I think I can swing it.

For sure, bring your wife! My wife Brenda will be there helping me, she is also my caller/crew chief at all these silly R/C airplane things . I hope your video camera is water proof!

I have one of those APPs that tracks the weather at the airport. Presently nice 72 degrees and 5-6 knots of wind forecast is rain after 1400 today.
Good luck to those who are down there.
It will be interesting to see how the Russians do on our turf with their jet if they compete.

Well the rain arrived about 4pm and is still going at 7.
