Don,
I am here to help.
You should be here!
Greg's plane is very subtle in detail nothing pops out but it is all there.
He flew with hung gear the first two rounds I am not sure how he could have any decent flight scores.
After the Comp Greg figured the gear out then on a test flight the engine shook itself loose on landing approach and the prop getting broken as some of the bolts/dummy engine bailed out.
He stopped the engine with Ignition kill switch. The throttle wasn't likely to have the range of motion to kill the engine.
One more reason to have an ignition kill switch.
It is more better now.
Sparky

Hey Sparks. Thanks for the report.
But it troubles me what you're saying about Greg's flight scores.

To have flight scores of 95 after Round 1, and 93.75 average after Round 3, means that he is scoring ~9.5 on every maneuver. I will simply say that I am amazed at how high the flight scores are. I wish I was there to see this kind of quality at work.

Don,
I never meant to have a handle on all the rules but coming from a full scale background if a landing gear isn't retracted completely you have airspeed limits that must be adhered to. That means the plane isn't likely to be able to run around a full power doing loops and what other tactile maneuvers are on the flight plan.
Fix in? I don't think so, Greg is a superb pilot and presents the plane well.

Don,

Obviously you have never seen either one of those guys fly Don. They are both superb r/c pilots and present their models well. Can you back up any of your comments made above? That is a LOT of conjecture on your part for someone who is basing these charges on one persons thoughts, obviously you have never seen either one of these guys fly their routine, and not even at the competition to make such a charge. Comments like this are what scare folks away from competing.

Mike

Thanks for your comments Mike. I agree with you 100%. I've seen both of these
guys fly many times and in most cases if the full scale doesn't fly a certain way,
neither does their model.

Jerry
