What a great fly-in!  It was three days of non-stop flying.  The event was honoring Dino's dad (Dino DiGiorgio Sr.) by way of a gathering pilots from all over the U.S. to the WORLD CLASS venue, Georgia Model Aviators (GMA) in Ballground, GA.  900 ft, groomed grass runway with parallel Asphaly runway, 22 covered pavilion benches and tons of open skies.  SKS Videos was there to capture the event. To top it off we had a killer Steak Dinner for the pilots Friday night. Best part about all of this? The event raised $2300.00 for the American Lung Association and was donated in Dino Sr.'s name.

Here are some photos from the event. It was great to see everyone and great fun!

Thanks again to Rex, Pedro, Dino and GMA for hosting a great event to wrap up the flying season. Well done!

Cheers,
Mike

Great pictures, Mike.  I haven't been to one of Dino's events since 2000 where I met and was welcomed with a great big hug from Dino Sr.

I am sure the camaraderie was great seeing all the other pilots there as well, that is some of the best part of these events.

Hello Mike -

Introduced myself as we had never met. I lurk here mostly ....  Had a great time, long drive, but well worth it. A lot of high quality aircraft in attendance.

We were flying the checkered nose Miester 190, Nosen like P 51, and Macchi 205
