We had a very nice Dawn Patrol meeting in Germany last weekend.

Teus, Ronald and I (all Dutch) went to meet Tilmann and Andreas in Bad Langensalza (Germany)

BE2c of Tilmann, Schlundt geared ZG62, scale 1/3, span 4m(!)

BUSA Pup Teus in the air, Schlundt geared ZG62 and the ZG38 geared Toni Clark Pup from Ronald

Ronald's Pup

Teus's Pup

JW Albatros from Andreas, 1/3 scale, geared 80cc, lovely model!

My own scratch built SE5a, 1:3,3 scale with geared ZG38

Lovely German scenery

Hope you like the pics, for us it was great to see each other and we had lovely weather.

Regards, Ralf

Hi Ralf,

Yes it was a wonderful meeting with good friends. Do you know that I first came in contact with Tilmann here at RCSB that must have been some 6 or 7 years back now. Wonderful how a good forum can bring people together and become good friends, even if they live far apart from each other.

I and Els enjoyed those four days also very much. We should do this more often. When sorted out all photos I will also upload some here.

Fantastic pictures! Amazing craftsmanship on all of those models. Very inspirational.

I especially liked the BE2c with the sunlight coming through the wings.

Thanks for posting them.

I wonder if Tillman built that BE2c from plans or scratch built it? I'd love to build one myself.

Hello Michael, great to hear you like the pics .

Teus, that's a great one too!

The BE2c has been scratch built. Really an absolutely lovely sight in the air!

Even more so with the 4-bladed prop.

Here you can see how huge the model really is.
