Hello everyone. I am new to scale modeling, but not the hobby itself. I have been flying for almost 5 years and have a hangar consisting of foamies, 1/12A kit builds from various manufacturers and planes that I have received in less than ideal condition to repair. This is my first attempt at a build from just plans. I purchased a set of David Johnson plans of a Fokker E.V. 1/4 scale and plan to work on this as my first attempt into scale. I also have a VK Models kit of a Corben Super Ace that is still in the box waiting for some attention.

Welcome to the site Doc. I invite you to become fully involved with all this site has to offer and enjoy yourself. Please  consider becoming a site supporter and document your first build in a thread. If you run into any trouble along the way there will be plenty of builders available to assist you. Also, the monthly free downloads and the free plans available will offset the cost of subsciption in the first month alone.
