After more than 15 years away from scale model building it's time to return to this challenging and rewarding hobby. I started flying RC airplanes back in 1975. Most of my planes were from standard kits or scratch built from my own plans. In 1999 I decided to take the step up to full-scale aircraft and have since built 5 aircraft, the first being a Sonex Experimental built from plans. This was the first customer built in Europe. I still have my Ultralight license and a Zenair CH650 aircraft. Inspired by alot of my old RC friends, and internet forums like this one, it's time to give this hobby a second chance.
British aircraft has always been my interest and I usually pay "The Island" a visit once or twice a year visiting airshows and museums.
My next scratchbuild project will be a 1/4 Scale Auster AOP9. A build-log is coming.
