My first build is going to be a fiberglass fuse Meister 190A, thanks to Dino hisself! I somehow got lucky and won the pilot raffle at his dad's memorial event year before last and scored one of the first 190A fuses along with the wood formers, Cowl, canopy and lots of other trimmings. Picked up the sticks and sheets from him this year, so I'm off to the races on it now. I still need to get the landing gear. (Wink, nod, Hint-Hint to anyone looking to sell a set)
I'm a Woodstock, GA (~40 miles NW of ATL) resident and fly in Ball Ground, GA. at Georgia Model Aviators. My main area of interest in the last decade has been jets. I've built a couple scale jets - both F-86's. My only scale bird right now is a Navy F86 variant; an FJ3 Fury.
Upcoming projects include a Don Smith P-51 and a glass & paint on my H9 giant arf Jug.
Claxton eh, wingman? My oldest daughter (and lots of my airplane money) went to GA Southern last year - Great school! - nice area too.
