Hi everyone, been lurking here for a few years. I live in Colorado and have been flying for 20+ years. I got started in R/C thanks to Byron Originals in Iowa. I grew up about 30mi. from Ida Grove,Ia. and was at almost all of Byrons Aviation Expos. Picked up a Tower Hobbies catalogue and that was all it took!!!

  Just completed a Jerry Bates Dewoitine D.520 that was a pre production short kit I acquired from a good friend. He had the wing approximately 1/2 completed and the horizontal stab built but not much more. He got it from Jerry to build but never completed it.

Currently working on a Cessna Bobcat that I got from the same friend to finish for him. This plane was started by Jerry Bates and Kieth inherited it from his Dad who got it from Jerry. I plan on starting a build thread on the Cessna Bobcat and hope Jerry and Kieth can give some input along the way.
