The North Dallas RC Club will host Warbirds Over Texas 2017 at Eagle Field near Denton TX on Friday/Saturday June 9-10th, 2017. This is a very large facility with plenty of open flying and room for your popups and trailers. Eagle field features some of the finest facilities available:- Large covered pit area equipped with tables, chairs and fans.
- Electrical outlets for operating equipment or recharging batteries.
- Four flight boxes.
- Parallel 620 foot paved and grass runways.
- Two porta-potty restrooms.
- Microwave and propane grill.
- Fire extinguishers and first aid kit for safety.
- Hook-ups for recreational vehicles.
- Bleachers for spectator seating.
We are known for being a pilot friendly event which focuses on flying, friends and fun. We have a great raffle, which features a giant scale warbird, plus many more warbird goodies.
Landing fees are $35 for both days, $25 for Saturday only, and includes lunch ticket for each day for the pilot.
We welcome all warbirds of any generation and power type, up to LMA-2. Trainers, liaison, transports, bombers, fighters, we love them all! Bring your whole squadron and your friends to the great event!
