Thanks for posting that. It was around that year I made my first and only trip to Rhinebeck as a flyer. May have been closer to the later seventies. I had a Royal kit, Bleriot. I knew a lot of the legends from Long Island like, Nick Ziroli and Rich Uravich and Larry Davidson. It was a great time for model building.

I first made it to Rhinebeck several years after Cole Palen passed on. I sure would have loved to have been there in the hay day.
