Just popping in here to introduce myself. Been back into modeling for the last 10 years now. I always had a lot of club members and folks at fly-ins ask how I build my models so I started a YouTube channel. I've been a basic member since 2008 but after attending SEFF this year many folks convinced me that I should be on this forum posting my work.

I pretty much do it all. Scratch building, kit building, composite, balsa, ARF-bashing, CAD, 3D printing, all in the name of scale. I prefer the unusual builds (Bugatti 100P, O-1 Tummelisa, FFVS J-22) but I've done my fair share of the standard works (Corsair, P-47 and the like).

At any rate, glad to be here and looking forward to participating in these pages.

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I've just completed a sponsored build of the Hangar 9 P-47D Razorback. There's not really a section for ARF-bashing but I'll look around and see where it fits best. I covered the surface in polished aluminum and created a 3-part YT series on how I go about it. Fun build and looks stunning in the air.
