This month's winner of Model Of The Month is

Jim Suchy's Gotha WW1 Bomber

This is a very unique model as well as an awesome build thread here on RCSB!

Follow Jim through every step of his building process and watch this masterpiece come alive.

You can read more and visit Jim's thread at:

For his efforts, Jim has won an awesome "Zap Pack" from
Frank Tiano at FTE (https://www.franktiano.com/).

Many thanks to Frank and Zap for sponsoring this monthly contest for RCSB Site Supporters!

Each month I will choose a model on the site worthy of this reward,
so get back to work on that model or start a thread here on RCSB!

Awesome Jim. Will we be seeing this at Rhinebeck 2020? I spoke with you this year at Rhinebeck regarding your SPAD XIII. Did you fix the damage yet?

Hi Jim, fine job, HUGE model. If the B-52 is the Aluminum Overcast, then the Gotha bomber is the Balsa Overcast. Ha. A lot of dedication to build the Gotha. Lane

That is one great looking bomber. I remember seeing a video of the plane in flight with the engines being worked on while under way! WOW!

Thanks, guys. It's been a great airplane. I didn't get a chance to fly the Gotha this year but I will be taking it to the DP Rendevous in Dayton next year and to the Hoosier Dawn Patrol. I only fly it at events because it takes a while to put together and at events I can leave it assembled all weekend.

Jim
