In "all" cases... Samples should be obtained from someone selling dry transfer graphics to permit you to test their product before spending your $. For twenty years our customers have applied dry transfer graphics to their award winning scale models.

Dry transfers are not all composed of the same chemicals. I have seen enamel, lacquer, polymer (copying machine toner), and acrylic dry transfers. Every type reacts different when a clear coat chemical is applied over the dry transfer.

I recommend you obtain and apply samples from whom you plan to purchase dry transfers from then test an "explicit brand and product" as recommended by the person you are purchasing dry transfers from. Scale models are expensive. Why take a chance of ruining it by assuming...

Do not assume what someone "claims to have applied over some dry transfer". Test and be sure the dry transfer does not dissolve when over sprayed. Some dry transfers have a wax layer...
