Had a good turnout to the All Scale annual club meet today. Wished more had shown up, but the winds were a bit less than ideal. But the burgers and dogs are always worth showing up for.
One special model came today built by Jack H. It's a Jungmeister Bipe. Jack did some amazing work on this kit. It's 88 inches but 1/3 Scale which means it was a small but snappy aerobatic plane. He ran a DA-70cc twin cylinder which was ample power with a 24x10 prop. Not sure of his coverings, but he painted with dope. He did fly it in the gusty cross-winds and she flew nicely and had a good landing. Included a few pics. Lane
I should add this is a Paolo Severin design by Toni Clark kits, out of Germany. I expect the kit was pricey.
Size comparison photo.
Overall view.
Detailed cockpit, but no pilot. Compass works!

Gary, Jack is a builder way above me. Whenever I think I've done something fine, Jack brings his plane out and I rethink my thoughts! He has a knack of doing incredible work. The Bucker Jungmeister was voted Pilot's Choice at today's meet. Lane
