Hello everyone,

Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself.  I'm Steve Saulnier from Kingston, Ontario and have enjoyed building and flying models since I was a teenager almost 50 years ago.  These days I focus on sport-scale electric RC and control-line stunt flying, and especially enjoy designing my own models and I even managed to have a couple construction articles published in Model Aviation Canada magazine.

I admire the competition-level scale models posted on this site by so many builders, and hope my sport-scale efforts won't be too low rent...

Steve

Welcome! Very nice planes! You should look into selling plans if they exist.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.  Plans for both models were published in Model Aviation Canada and can be downloaded for free.  The Blenheim/Bolingbroke is 48" span while the TBF Avenger/Tarpon is 54" span.

I have a 48" Hawker Hurricane almost ready for covering that I'm thinking of starting a build thread for here on RCSB.

Welcome to our RCSB site.  As everyone else has commented, your models look great.  It’s really good to see aircraft such as the Bolingbroke being modeled.  Always of particular interest in seeing models off the beaten path.

Good show.

I'm in too.

I love these two models.

Can you post the specs of the motors, ESC and batteries used please.

I have plans from old defuncted modelling magazines that I want to build with electric systems but can't get my head around which motors to use. There are so many available.
