Does anybody know of really scale WWI aircraft available? I'm looking for 1/3 scale. Since Glenn torrance and Arizona models is gone. It seems just balsa usa out there. Mick reeves does some nice models but I would like more options. Does anyone have know of any one else producing plans or kits?

a few Glen Torrance kits turn up now and then new..But of course they are priced according to their quality.
I expect someday the 3d printer guys will be selling a SUPER scale kit with everything you could want in one bag... detail wise.

I know this is not the route you are looking for but try searching the RCM&E plans range and also Sarik hobbies. You may be able to locate a scale set of plans to your liking and then send them to "Plansplotter" in Killingsworth Conn. for an enlargement. Would leave you to a scratch build but I think you would be done before a new 1/3 super kit will surface

Not Glenn Torrance level, but.......Vogelsang Aeroscale has some kits from J.W. in Germany. All in 1/3rd scale, Sopwith Pup and Camel, Sopwith Tripe, and an Albatros D.Va
Can attest that the Albatros and Pup are just lovely to fly

Also try the free plans sites Outerzone and Aero Fred.

Just took a peek at Oz and they have a few in the 50 60 inch span Sopwiths by David Bodington who I believe was a "very scale" guy who rubbed elbows with Dave Platt. I am sure searching will turn up a few handfuls of others. Simple enlargements and then fudge some wood sizes for your liking.

You might contact either Joey Leach or Barry Vogel - both have Facebook pages.
Indiana Airworks has been doing some kitting on WWI airplanes at 1/3 scale, and there are a few build threads up on RCScalebuilder.
