New Member so hello to all my fellow scratch builders.
I never real been a member of this type of social media before. Old school guy.
This looks like the place to be!
Scratch building is a dying art form so i appreciate being here with all of you.
i have been playing with 2 aircraft for the last 15 years. One being a SPAD XIII. that was designed from full scale prints that have been modified to produce a scale detail replica. 2 prototypes and lot of mistakes. my goal is to get this thing in the air in the next couple years.
The other is a Lockheed L-1049 G prop liner. when i start to get frustrated i put it down and back and forth i go. Again labor of love.
Don't fly much but i can hibernate for the winter in my shop.
Building season for me starts in sept just after the first frost and leaves start to change color.
just love to build a one off thing or rare thing. i guess that's why i appreciate the early pioneers. I would appreciate feedback on this for sure.
Passion is what drives us to use our minds and skills. Keep it up Cheers Donny .
