A fun meet at GSW Aero Club on the East side of Fort Worth on Randoll Mill Road from loop 820 East.
If it's scale, bring it and fly it. The grass field is in fine shape. Plenty of room for pilots and audience.
Flying usually starts at 9AM. A pilot's meeting will be given with the general rules and regs right before flying starts.
Jim K cooks great burgers and dog with all the trimmings, and canned drink or water. Lunch with landing fee and donation, please, for spectators.
Come on out!

Had a good showing at the All Scale Meet today with 15 pilots I would guess, never got a count. Winds were light at first but picked up a bit with a crosswind. Best part of the day was lunch cooked by Jim K who always does burgers and dogs. Barry flew my Black Horse Corsair and put on a good show. I didn't take any pics, but Bob S did and I may post some here.
The pneumatic conversion retracts worked as they were supposed to! The VV 70 twin engine ran great too.
Here's me and the Corsair after the sortie.

Hi Keith, it was a good day here in Texas. Glad you like the Corsair. Been wanting a large one for quite a few years since I sold my ESM 85 inch Corsair back in 2014 and dropped the Ziroli Corsair build. Prolly getting a bit chilly these days up in Canada! Lane

Thanks for posting the pics.
Your Corsair looks nice as well.We had someone flying a Topflite GS Corsair at a local flyin yesterday. He had some smaller Gas radial in it sounded very nice.
Is that the hangar 9 P47 they made about 10 years ago? That was a popular plane around here.

Yep, was available back then! That H9 was one that flew great and I had that one. 81 inches. Sold it to a guy in Houston to get some mad money prior to buying the place I now have. Regretted it, like most RC sales. Would go into a left snap roll if you came out of a loop or Split-S with idle power. After the 2nd snap happened, I learned to keep power 50 percent on that one coming out of a loop.
