I've been modelling on and off for some 45 years with varied degrees of success and, resisting RTF and the like as much as possible my chief interest now lies in scale aeroplanes of the 1940's, 50's and 60's. Time spent enjoying myself is still rather restricted due to my need to continue earning a crust but I feel the need, after all these years, to get me one of those new fangled 'A' and 'B' certificates. Old habits die hard though and I will still take a large plastic bag when I venture out to model.
