Hallo!
I'm also new here and wanted to introduce myself. My interest is building and- hopefully- flying scale WW1 aircraft, preferably 1/6 (2") scale, since der wagen won't carry anything much larger.... From what I've read thus far, this looks like the right place to be. Thanks!

Hey Tod - picked a rotten time to join, since the site will be down for part of Saturday!
In all seriousness, welcome aboard. You will be able to find just about all the help you could ever want here. I strongly urge you to become a site supporter, it will open up the whole site to you. See here for more info http://www.rcscalebuilder.com/page_display.asp?pid=5
Oh - let me also suggest a larger wagen too, taking WWI birds apart for transport is a pain in the posterior!

Danke Herr Jeff,
Points taken, but f I buy a larger wagen how will I afford a Proctor kit? (Besides, I like to put my finished projects on the dashboard, where I can play with them while I'm driving...)
Does anybody fly in 1/48 scale?

Looks like I lied too - site move postponed!.
I have used the great planes mini-F-86 as a hood ornament on the Mig-15 at the museum I volunteer at, does that count for your question?
The Nieuport 11 may fit in a smaller wagon, their VK triplane certainly will.

Tod, I too would like to welcome you. I suggest a big trailer. Like the ones the "horse" guys have. Small living quarters in the front, and room for about eight horses in the rear. Nothing like a nice hanger with a small house attached.
Welcome to RCSB. We're glad you found us.

Hi Tod, Welcome to the site. I think Ron may be on to something. Trailers make great aircraft transporters.. Something to consider..

Danke Kameraden. A couple more questions....
What happened to the Fun Aero website?
Why is everybody calling me Tod?
(I'm flattered, but I haven't even solo'ed yet- much less shot anything down.)
