Hi Guys
I just found your site and am quite excited about it. Ive been an avid glow engine guy since the early 70s in one form or another. I have no idea the number of times I have turned in a circle with a control handle in my hand during my lifetime. I learned to fly R/C while in the Navy in California in the early 80's with a Marks Models Sunny Bipe 3 channel with the help of fellow modeler Dee Millet. He had a great 1/4 scale model of his full size ultralite called a Desert Duster. If you ever want to teach someone to fly it just doesnt get any easier then with one of these planes, less wing loading then most gliders :) .After coming back home to Washington I joined the Clark county Washington flying club where I met up with some great guys Including Vance Moser who I see was a contributor here.
I spent several years working with and helping Vance with his projects and was always amazed with his workmanship and attention to detail. Sadly with marriage and kids I wound up moving on with my life and had to leave the hobby behind for a lot of years. During that period the majority of my old planes and equipment found new homes including the original Westland Whirlwind Vance built, His Vultee Vanguard and Hawker Hurricane amongst a few others. I am still flying his old Chipmunk.
This past year I have been able to get back into the hobby and Joined the Lewis county Washington club. All great people but not many builders left anymore beyond the basics so i was thrilled to find your site yesterday.
I of course fly the other stuff but my main interest has always been scale.
If all goes well my first scratch project in the near future will be an Arado AR-65, Size yet to be determined.
I have also jumped in headfirst and become a dealer for FrSKY radio products. I started using their gear and am sold on the quality and price of their equipment. They will soon be producing their own line of radios with telemetry built in. www.skywardhobbies.com
I look forward to making new friends here on the site and maybe running into a few of you here and there.
Hopefully I can contribute as well as learn form all your expertise.

Jeff Christenson

Welcome Jeff to the RCSB community.  As someone who has tendencies towards the unique and obscure I will certainly be looking forward to the Arado.  I hope you get as much enjoyment from RCSB as I do and decide to make it a regular stop.

Uh oh - another Jeff!  What is the world coming too!  I have never known so many Jeff's as here on RCSB!

Welcome aboard Jeff - and glad you found the site supporter button too!  I am sure you will find the investment worthwhile.

Chad - a friend of mine has pictures of 101 and will dig them out after his surgery.

Good to be a part of the Insanity :). Yes Jeff is the most common name in the whole wide world. I have stood in a group of 5 Jeffs at work before lol.

Anything I can do to help out a fellow modeler give me a yell
