It pretty much covers the subject from being first found, then vandalised by those who found it, discussions about the fate of the pilot, presumed to be Flt Sgt Copping, and the RAF Museum's desire to recover the aircraft. There have been lots of behind the scenes negotiations to recover the aircraft, and members were asked to think carefully before they post in case they jeopardize the recovery efforts.
Personally, I hope the damage caused by the vandals is repaired, but the aircraft not restored. It tells a far more interesting and poignant story of the desert air war.
