Hi Everyone!
This is Sean from ScaleRcEngines.com

We are a small family business who make scale radial engines for all sizes and eras. We are based and manufacture all our products out of Connecticut.

We currently have a growing line up of WW1,WW2 and Civilian engines available and can customize any of them down to the 1/16 inch to perfectly fit your product.

I’ve included some customer photos below of some of our work. Please feel free to reach out if you guys have any questions! Great to be a site supporter.

Thank you,

Great choice of engines Sean

Here the link to the website: Click

Wondering what’s the weight for a 1/3rd Gnome for example and do you have full engines available instead of half ones?

Also under the heading "Dimensions". "Direct Fit" means nothing.

Dimensions of he actual product would be nice.

Not every one buys ARFS or FOAMIES.

Some engines show the size together with the scale like the Gnome, this given by all engines would be an idea……

Hi Guys,

Teus, yes we offer the rear cylinder half as an option, for the 1/3 Gnome it would be a $35 option.
The weight if the front half is 11.75 oz (measured) before aluminum tubing is added. The rear half of the cylinder would ad about an extra 5-7 oz (estimated)

Kuhn,
Dimensions are listed on most of our engines, and we are working on adding them to the ones which are missing complete dimensions.
Those listed as direct fit are designed to fit into a specific ARF or RTF airplane as they are drop in ready for that specific model.

For those building kits or have ARFs that do not have a direct motor listed we offer our custom sizing service which I've linked here for you.

Thank you for the interest and please let me know if you have any other questions!
Best,
-Sean

Nice product lineup!
Many here - myself included - will be interested in the rear-cylinder option, especially on WW1 types.
A lot of those have partially open cowls with the engine structure clearly visible (Nieuports, Fokkers etc.)

Hope you don't mind a few questions:
Is the rear cylinder a separate piece that needs to be glued onto the front half?
Are full cylinders an option? If so, could they be ordered individually?
Also, do you plan to include additional engine types? (e.g. Oberursel, in-lines...)

Thanks
