Hi everyone,

Hailing from Cleveland here, building season (winter) is over and I am still not done with my Stinson build. I am new to thicket although I have found on great thread that has helped with my SR-9 build a lot.

Since we are trying to build this airplane as scale as possible, does anyone have any recommendations on covering seat/seat backs?

I have plenty of pictures of this build so I was even thinking of starting another thread. Thanks for the help!

Hi Allen - good to see you speak up

You have been here a while and probably know about the site supporter program, but let me refresh you:  LINK

Please do start a thread of your own, but you must be a site supporter in order to post your photos.  There are some tutorials HERE that can help you with posting.

Allen

I don't have an answer for you but Do believe some of the civilian scale threads have posts on how they made their interiors

I would have to take a look and see if I can find one for you.

What part of the great CLE are you from.  I live on the west side and fly with the Westlake RC club.  Hoping to take some time today to do so.

Thanks for the info J_Whitney, I will look into the site supporter thing. I'd like to share these pics for sure.

Lenzmike, I am in the geauga rc club way out east. I haven't flown in a while but hoping to free up some time this summer. Also, I will check out some of the civilian threads.

Thanks!

Believe it or not go to a doll house supply store. They will have an amazing amount of fabric and leather to do the seat and bulkheads.

I have already been to a craft store once, and picked out some good vinyl like seat material. However I am searching for a pattern with no luck...So I am going to try and create my own!
