Hello and salute to all enthusiasts. Recommended by another AMPS member that I check out this site, as I recently re-entered the hobby. I joined the AMPS here in sunny Phoenix. Thumbs are reconnecting with my brain after about a 20 year hiatus. Dusted off some gas burners and converted to electrics for practice flying, and finished a kit that is only rumored to fly - more on that later and probably the reason I'm here. I have a short list of scale subjects which have already begun in the print phase, to include a Convair 340 (my Dad's plane), either a Piper Mirage or Meridian (my current training platform for new owners) and possibly a T-28 in Air Force colors.
So, on to more topics and figure out how to post pics...

Hi Michael,
Since you are on a Mac be sure and check out this article on resizing (and changing resolution) in batches.
Also be sure and read the Posting Tips & Tricks at the top of every forum listing.
It's a bit different here because we use images "in-line" they have to be a bit "leaner" than uploading to a thumbnail.
Cheers, Mike

It looks like I've been gifted a Ryan STA (feel free to chime in Dave), so stay tuned. GF already picked colors and I can't wait to get it going. Got a few projects to get out of the way to make room - a generic sport trainer (Astroflight Challenger) getting recovered and will offer for sale, and finish repairs on my classic MEN Trainer which found a mesquite tree Saturday, after I accidentally put a less than full charged battery in it...oops! Also will finish the battery and equipment move for the P-38 maiden.
Got at least a dozen flights since joining the club and had the field to myself this evening. The Carbon Cub foamy has been an excellent trainer to work my way back into full unassisted flight - thanks to the ASEX3 modes. Flying mostly in intermediate mode and landing with and without flaps.
