Come
on and join in the Albuquerque Radio Control Club (http://www.arcc.club/)
celebrate the club’s 60th year and the Annual Scale Meet.
The meet will be held Saturday, June 27 from 8 am to when the
wind gets to strong and again on Sunday, June 28 from 8 am to around 1 pm. The
meet will be held at the George J. Maloof Memorial Airpark in Albuquerque, NM. The Airpark is located
on the West Mesa overlooking Albuquerque.

Burger, hot dogs, chips,
water and soda will be available for a small charge.
The Park offers the
following facilities:
- 700'
paved runway
- helicopter
area with three 10 ft x 10 ft landing pads
- control
line field for 1/2A through ABC planes (70' circle)
- large
shaded area with tables
- BBQ
grills
- Water
- bathrooms
- plenty
of parking to include overnight (but no water or electric hook ups)
After
the day’s flying, meander around Albuquerque and enjoy the sites, AND the
food. Remember, if you order Mexican and
enjoy both red and green chili, ask for Christmas.
